1. The Service
SinceCode is a hosted website-building platform.
SinceCode is established in the United Kingdom and primarily offers its services to customers in the United Kingdom. Our service, pricing and marketing are not directed at residents of the European Economic Area. If you are accessing this service from outside the UK, you do so on your own initiative.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must give us accurate information at sign-up and keep it up to date.
3. Plans, billing and add-ons
The Free plan is provided at no charge. Premium and add-ons are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable. Paid subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled (Account → Billing → Manage subscription).
Statutory cancellation right: by purchasing Premium with the express waiver checkbox, you agreed to immediate access and waived the 14-day cancellation right under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 reg. 37.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, serve and back up Your Content solely to provide the Service to you and your site visitors.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. A breach of that policy is a breach of these Terms.
If you believe content hosted on a SinceCode site is illegal, infringes your rights, or breaches the AUP, please use our Content Takedown & Complaints Policy.
6. Custom domains
Premium customers may point a custom domain. You are responsible for owning the domain and configuring DNS.
7. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy. Where you process personal data about your own users, our DPA applies.
8. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate for material breach. Retention rules in the Privacy Policy apply on termination.
10. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law. Subject to that, the Service is provided "as is"; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; total aggregate liability is capped at the greater of fees paid in the relevant 12-month period or £100.
11. Governing law
English law. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to non-excludable consumer rights.
